Federal Resources for Educational
Excellence (FREE), maintained with support from the U.S. Department of
Education, is a repository containing more than 1,600 K-12 teaching and
learning resources from the federal government. FREE enables learners and educators
to find high quality digital learning resources from federal agencies such as
NASA, National Gallery of Art, National Science Foundation, and Smithsonian
among others.
FREE is pleased to be an early collaborator in the Learning Registry. In preparation for a complete connection to the Registry, information about a selection of our resources have been placed into the Registry by way of our partner site--Butte County Office of Education's Brokers of Expertise. We look forward to continuing our collaboration to publish our full set of metadata and to connect with usage data about our FREE site. View the records being shared by FREE in the Learning Registry Browser. |
