The National Archives and Records
Administration (NARA) preserves the permanently valuable records of the
United States federal government, ensuring that people can access and
learn from our documentary heritage. In the late 1970s, the National
Archives pioneered a program to provide educators and students with
opportunities to teach with and learn from primary sources documents.
NARA
is pleased to be an early collaborator in the Learning Registry to make
methods and materials for integrating documents into classroom
instruction even more widely available. In preparation for a complete
connection to the Registry, information about a selection of our
resources have been placed into the Registry by way of our partner
site--Butte County Office of Education's Brokers of Expertise. We look
forward to continuing our collaboration! View the records being shared by the National Archives in the Learning Registry Browser. |
